Positive Action

Explore how to achieve the things that you want.

Positive Action is a series of one-on-one sessions led by peer facilitators at the Southwest Center where you'll dive in the question "what do I want out of life?". Though anyone can participate, Positive Action can be especially helpful to someone who's newly diagnosed with HIV to navigate stress related to the diagnosis. Gift cards are provided for each session!

Many Men Many Voices

Talk about sexual health and intimacy with other guys who get it.

Many Men Many Voices is a weekend retreat for Black men who have sex with men (MSM) who may or may not identify as gay. Peer facilitators lead group sessions where you can explore the intersection between racial identity and sexual health while building risk reduction and partner communication skills. You even get a gift card for participating!

Positive Connections

Meet with others to take charge of your status and your health.

Positive Connections is a day-long workshop for HIV-positive men who have sex with men (MSM), including youth. Trained facilitators help you to build tools for coping with stress, making decisions about disclosing your HIV status, and building healthier and safer relationships. Plus, you get a gift card for attending!

Get informed and build social support and tools for healthy relationships.

WILLOW (Women Involved in Life Learning from Other Women) is a four-session program designed by women and for women. Peer facilitators lead group discussions with HIV+ women about gender pride, personal values, social support, coping strategies, sexual helath, STD and HIV transmission, and intimate partner violence. Transgender women are encouraged to participate regardless of HIV status! Gift cards are provided!
