Event Details: This event is by invitation only. Marshall Shore, Arizona’s Hip Historian, will guide us through a fascinating retrospective of the past 10 years and the storied histories of the Parsons Center for Health and Wellness and its community healthcare providers and LGBTQ+ support organizations, current and past. Refreshments and light bites will be provided.

 
 

It all started in 2012…

when the City of Phoenix purchased the Channel 12 Broadcast Television Building, formerly known as the Gannett Building, for engagement in a long-term lease with Southwest Center.

Thanks to a $3.6 million bond Phoenix voters approved in 2006 and millions more in private donations - including more than $8 million through The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation - this location would establish a new home for Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS and partnering organizations to create an LGBTQ+ center.

The Parsons Center for Health and Wellness brings quality community healthcare providers and LGBTQ+ support organizations together. They include:
